As part of its team I did the following:

  • Upgraded several Ruby on Rails application from 3.* to 4.*;
  • Developed a Ruby on Rails application for customer support to track customer satisfaction;
  • Wrote specs (with RSpec, Capybara, Selenium, and Poltergeist) for a new product of the company;
  • Converted views in the core application from HAML to ERB;

Master’s program Business Information Systems combines knowledge from fields of Computer Science, Management, and Industrial Engineering sciences to train professionals, who are capable of integrating complex information systems into a business environment.

The program focused on modelling of business processes with such tools as CPN Tools and Rockwell Arena. Also, the program included studies of technologies behind data on the Internet (technologies behind search engines, machine learning algorithms), and research on the role of IT in enterprises.
